The Soles Walking 4 Souls Scholarship
Honoring Danica Summer
and other young lives taken too soon due to fentanyl poisoning.
Empowering Dreams, Honoring Legacies
The fentanyl crisis has impacted countless families across the nation, leaving behind children who face not only the emotional toll of losing a parent but also financial and educational challenges. These children often struggle to maintain stability in their education and future aspirations due to the loss of their primary provider or support system.
Our non-profit, dedicated to raising awareness and providing support to families affected by the fentanyl epidemic, seeks to extend our mission through the creation of a scholarship fund for these children.
At Soles Walking 4 Souls, we understand the profound impact that losing a parent to fentanyl poisoning can have on a young person’s life. As part of our mission to raise awareness and support those affected by the fentanyl crisis, we are proud to announce the launch of the Soles Walking 4 Souls Scholarship, a scholarship program dedicated to supporting students who have experienced this heartbreaking loss.
Danica Summer was a bright and exceptionally talented young woman, particularly in math and science, with dreams of becoming an engineer. At just 17 years old, she was already working, driving, and preparing to graduate—an inspiring reflection of her determination and ambition. Tragically, her promising future was stolen by fentanyl poisoning, leaving her dreams unrealized.
In her memory, Soles Walking 4 Souls is committed to honoring Danica and all the high school students whose lives were tragically cut short, denying them the opportunity to pursue their dreams of higher education and beyond.
